Preparing for your talk: Pre-event

Your content

We pride ourselves on producing engaging and thought-provoking content. All material should be fresh and original, and shouldn’t regurgitate previous content. You won’t see sales pitches or sales-oriented talks at Web Summit, so please keep this in mind when thinking about your talk. You and your content producer will collaborate on this.

Please note: Speaking slots at Web Summit are scheduled with precision, and it is vital that you adhere to your allotted discussion time. If you run over, it has a domino effect on the entire timetable.

To make sure your time onstage is as successful as possible, we ask you to adhere to our guidelines and standards.

Your stage

So you can understand the space better, we will be sharing our tech specs for each stage in the coming weeks.

Your schedule

You will receive your personal schedule link eight weeks before the event. If you need more information, please email keyattendeesuccess@websummit.com.

Dress code

There is no specific dress code for Web Summit. However, people tend to dress smart

casual at the conference and for any peripheral events.

Please note: For best results on film, we ask that you avoid wearing thin stripes and check patterns where possible. These can sometimes cause strobing on camera.
