We will have an airport registration desk at Lisbon Airport where you can pick up your accreditation. More information to follow.

Ground transport for Speakers: 

A fleet of Web Summit-branded luxury cars will be providing complimentary transport for speakers between Lisbon airport, the InterContinental hotel and the main venue across all four days of the event (the service will operate between the airport and the hotel from Saturday, October 30). To avail of this service, please make yourself known to the transport manager stationed at the speaker transport info point at any of the three locations and they’ll arrange a car for you. These cars will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Our aim is to provide a prompt and efficient service throughout, however, a 10-15 minute wait may be expected at peak times.

Official vaccine certificates or a negative Covid-19 test result will be required to attend Web Summit. Where official certificates cannot be provided, organisers will require a negative PCR test, which will only remain valid for 72 hours. 

While it’s unlikely that masks will be legally required indoors in Portugal by November, Web Summit will remain supportive of any attendee who wishes to wear a mask. 

If any rules regarding vaccines and mask wearing change closer to November, all attendees will be alerted in a timely fashion. Web Summit will ensure all appropriate measures, as set by the Portuguese health authorities in November, are adhered to.

Dress code

There is no specific dress code for Web Summit. However, people tend to dress smart casual at the conference and for any peripheral events.

Please note: For best results on film, we ask that you avoid wearing thin stripes and check patterns where possible. These can sometimes cause strobing on camera.

Your visa 

If you’re travelling from outside the EU, please be sure to check whether you need a visa to enter Portugal. While we will not engage directly with your relevant embassy, we can supply you with a letter confirming you will be speaking at Web Summit in order to support your application. Please contact your speaker success manager directly for details.
